Review of In the Name of the FatherThis film was exellent first of all because it was based on a true story without being too dramatic or clichè-ridden, which stories from "true life" often are. It gave us a good - and we think also realistic - picture about the situation in Northern Ireland and England at the time. ( the 1970`s ) And also how corrupt the system can be. Even though we can`t understand what it is like to be held in prison for like 15 years you know. For something he did not even do. Get it? But the actors were brilliant and gave us a fairly good idea about how terrible it was. This film was far out man, and groovy as hell.
