Movie Review: What a bizarre story!
Summary: 5 Stars
I love this movie! The guy below me, Diego (or something like that) pretty much gives you the basis of the entire movie in his review which saves me from doing so. However, I must say that if you are a fan of really weird movies, this is a great one. This movie is completely strange, once you get into Hobbs End, there is no way out. It's prolly safe to say that everyone there is totally insane. Even Williams' character heads down that road, it's up to you to decide if he actually makes it to the end or not. This is a very good movie and I recommend every one to see it at least once.Movie Review: SCARY AND CREEPY TO THE MAX

This is what I call a real horror movie. There's no splatter, but great horror. Don't get me wrong, I like splatter, but this movie doesn't really need it, it's a great movie because of its dark disturbing atmosphere and because you think to know the plot but it all changes at the end. Simply a great movie and Carpenters best movie. Sam Neill is also doing a great performance as in Event Horizon.Somehow after watching it I thought this movie is as great as a book of Stephen King(whose films always are crap, but the books unbelievable!)

This movie really weirded me out. I love horror movies, and this is one of the best Horror movies I have seen. I like that it scarred me, not from the monsters but from the physcological point of view.The only thing is that I went to a party one Saturday night, and when I got home I passed out, and it wasn't till the morning that I realized that some Ape's had broken into my apartment. They stold alot of stuff and they took a handful of my horror movies including In The Mouth Of Madness. I guess people in the ghetto like Sutter Cane.Movie Review: Lived any good books lately?

I saw this movie when it first came out on video and was terrified. Since then I must have rented it about ten times. John Carpenter does an excellent job in this movie, keeping you scared out of your wits. Some of the movie does have a Lovecraftian feel to it and I say that's what gives it the eerie feel it has. This movie shocks you again and again. From a maze-like town, to an old man on a bicycle, or a bunch of kids chasing a dog hoping for a quick bite, this movie doesn't stop chilling you to the bone until the very end.Movie Review: Horrifying

The first time I rented In the Mouth of Madness, I expected a horribly goofy John Carpenter film. Instead, this film is up there with The Shining as one of the top horror films EVER. The psychological suspense is perfect - the only thing that lets this film down is seeing the Great Old Ones or whatever they were called - didn't Lovecraft always leave descriptions to the reader? I think the mind's eye could conjure up something much more horrible than big slimy monsters. See this film - you will NOT be disappointed.
