Movie Review: Great Southern Blues Rock, by Lady Texans: Marcia Ball, Angela Strehi, & Sarah Brown + Thier Great Backing Band!!!
Summary: 5 Stars
This is a fantastic blues rock concert. I've seen Marcia Ball perform live at a New Orleans Jazz festival, and she is fantastic. So, are the other 2 ladies on this dvd. Marcia plays the piano, and sings lead vocals. Sarah Brown plays the bass guitar and sings lead vocals at times, and Angela Strehli sings lead vocals at times. Plus, their backing band has an electric slide guitar player, a saxaphone player, and a drummer. Marcia Ball was born in Texas, but raised in Louisiana. She is now based out of Austin, Texas. She is a regular performer at the New Orleans Jazz Festival every year.
This dvd has excellent sound quality and excellent visual quality.
