One of the best cases for an investigation into the alternative hypothesis for the collapse of WTC 1, 2 & 7.
The questions raised by the NIST and FEMA reports about the WTC collapses demand an ongoing, thorough scientific investigation. Indeed, both NIST and FEMA concede that these events deserve further study.
The "official" fire and pancake explanation cannot be presumed to be the only viable scenerio, especially when so much evidence suggests otherwise and the government's own reports are woefully inconclusive. Indeed, as Dr. Jones notes, the NIST report "established" that the buildings should NOT have collapsed. Their own tests confirmed that the temperature ratings of the steel I-Beams used in the construction of the WTC were correct. And as no kerosene fire can approach the heat needed to soften steel, fire is not a plausable explanation for the symetrical collapse of these 3 buildings.
However, as "Improbable Collapse" takes pains to demonstrate, there is an alternative hypothesis that fits the facts and the testimony better than the fire/pancake hypothesis. And this compelling, indeed unavoidable hypothesis is that these buildings were subject to controlled demolitions.

"Improbable Collapse" is the first film to look at the events of September 11, 2001 from a scientific perspective. Closely examines one of the worlds worst catastrophes from a civil engineering perspective. Using photo and video footage as well as expert scientific testimony, the film thoroughly deconstructs the official reports, while raising a more plausible hypothesis. The findings from these scientific experts have been quietly ignored by both government investigations and the mainstream media. The NY WTC Twin Towers disintegrated in a manner that scientists say resembled deliberately calculated implosions. At 5:20 p.m. that same day another building, the 47-story WTC 7, completely collapsed within 70 feet of its footprint in 6.6 seconds, although it was not hit by an airplane. These three buildings became the first steel structures ever to allegedly suffer complete collapse due to fire damage.Educational DVD Video
