Movie Review: This comedy has imagination
Summary: 5 Stars
Finally, a family friendly comedy that is both funny and original. Eddie Murphy, an ambitious financial investor, comes to believe his daughter's blanket can give him sound financial advice! Meanwhile, his competitor, Thomas Haden, uses Native American mysticism and animal aphorisms to woo clients. Add to this the adorable Yara Shahidi, who plays Murphy's daughter, and Imagine That makes for the first truly enjoyable comedy I've seen in years. The ending got a bit cliche, but at least it was done with style (Eddie Murphy's final wardrobe is quite fashionable!). In fact, I'd go so far to say that this movie has quite a bit of imagination.Movie Review: Imagine That!

I wasn't sure if this movie was going to be corny or not being a childrens movie and all - but I was surprised at how funny it was! I loved Eddie Murphy in "Daddy Day Care" and loved him in this movie equally as much! This movie isn't appropriate for younger ages (it's rated PG) and I believe it's PG because of some adult humor - but it's nothing you wouldn't see on TV and no foul language is used! "Imagine That" has a really cute message for all ages!Movie Review: Imagine That

A powerful financial executive whose career was sent spiraling down the drain due to sudden lack of confidence finds the answers to his inexplicable setback in an imaginary world dreamt up by his young daughter. This movie is very enteraining. Eddie Murphy is a very talented actor. I hope he continues to do more movies like this one.

It was nice to finally see a magical bond between an African American father and his daughter on film. No, there isn't any special effects or action scenes but so what. This film is deep on so many levels. I absolutely love it and I love Eddie Murphy for making it.Movie Review: Very cute movie

I saw this movie with my husband and daughter. The movie was great but I only wish that Eddie Murphy showed more singing talent like he used too when he did the Party All the Time song back in 1985. But it was still a great movie
