Movie Review: Love this movie!
Summary: 5 Stars
The first time i watched this movie was on youtube, I loved the movie so much that I just had to get the dvd. I wasn't disappointed. The video and sound quality was fantastic! The deleted scenes and the interviews were a definite bonus.
This is a light-hearted romantic comedy that started on Rachel's wedding day, when she glanced at one side and met Luce's eyes. It was love at first sight! No sex scenes here except for that one passionate kiss. The chemistry between them is unbelievable! Although I felt sorry for Heck (Rachel's husband) I really rooted for Rachel and Luce. The other characters added humor to the whole movie because they had the most amusing lines! And I'm glad the creators made sure everybody got their happy endings.
This is the kind of movie you'd like to watch late at night, It would definitely leave a smile on your lips just before you go to sleep. I'm definitely keeping this so i can watch it again!
Movie Review: Sweet romantic love story
Summary: 5 Stars
I loved this movie! Great chemistry between the 2 lead characters and the supporting cast was very believable. This was not a "gay agenda" story - regardless of their gender, you just really wanted Luce & Rachel to be together. No overtly sexual scenes (although I agree with the reviewer who said a few more kisses between the 2 would have been nice).
I disagree with the reviewer who said this movie depicted the men as "idiots". The only male character I didn't care for was Cooper (the self-proclaimed lady's man) but probably because I've known tons of men like him in real life; sometimes the truth hurts. Rachel's dad was depicted as "bumbling" but in the end, he was the character who was the most insightful, telling Rachel to follow her heart. And Heck - who didn't love Heck?
This is a movie I didn't want to see end because I felt as though the characters had become my fiends. Buy it if you love a happy ending!
Movie Review: PERFECTION! Can I give it 100 Stars?

This is a superior well acted film. It isn't per se a lesbian film, because the characters could be interchangable and be a straight couple. This is the perfect mainstream film dealing with same sex attraction; the men are not cast as the bad guy and the women are well banlanced, no angst in sight. I think the deeper message is that we are not different when it comes to love. Now as a lesbian film, (God Bless the genetics of actress Lena Headey's parents :) it is so well done, so well acted you wonder why can't female directors/writers get it right with dialogue and direction as this great writer director Mr. Ol Parker did in this film. This movie is a must see, the actors are great and subtle, nothng over the top and stereotyped. I bought a copy as it is a must for my dvd library. This has got to be my favorite light romantic comedy in years gay or straight it is PERFECTION!Movie Review: Simply Charming

I saw Imagine Me & You at a great indie theater with one of my best friends. We both found the film to be very enjoyable. The acting was right on and the comedic timing was excellent. The movie is about love at first sight. Does it exist? The film says it does. Some people may have a problem with this as they believe that fact not to be true. It might do them well to just enjoy the film for what it is rather than become agitated because it does not fall in with their own beliefs.
The characters are fun and the writing itself is great. I bought the movie on the first day it came out & I know I'll watch it again and again. I would say check this one out even if the idea of a lesbian romance does not sit well with you. It's a love story - simple as that - & I think if you watch it with an open mind, you may quite like it.

I don't care what anyone says - this movie is one of my all time favorites. I love movies that leave you feeling good and you are not going out the door trying to "get it". Everybody loves love and happiness and feeling good. There is enough reality in the real world and sometimes we love a break. To be honest, I think the thing that I liked best about this movie is that it leaves you with a feeling of hope fulfilled. Even the guy at the end on the plane was happy knowing that life goes on and there is happiness right there for all who follow their heart and do right. I thought the acting was superb and very believable. Let all those critics who denounce this movie, scratch their heads and try to come up with something else to make life harder on us. My gosh, what do they expect - we want something deeper than real life.
