Movie Review: Amazing Grace
Summary: 5 Stars
My parents loved the video of Amazing Grace at the Pula Colliseum when they saw it, so when I saw it listed I got this DVD for them. Il Divo is a talented group and songs like Amazing Grace, Alelujiaj, Ava Maria (not on this one), Adagio, etc., really suit them. The locations also add a lot to the overall wow factor. They can do without covering some of the pop songs which I do not think do justice for their style (just my opinion).
Long story short, if you've seen the any of the songs performed at the Pula Colliseum online or on tv and enjoyed the performance, I think this DVD is worth the price.

The visual impact of the Roman Coliseum at night, combined with the incredible voices of Il Divo was emotionally overwhelming! We were passing tissues around the room halfway through the first song! Also, my mom bought "The Promise" by Il Divo. Turns out,the 2nd half of the "Coliseum" DVD was a documentary on recording "The Promise!" Awesome deal! We watched the DVD several times over the weekend. "Amazing Grace" and "Adagio" absolutely highlighted these men's impeccable talent. Buy BOTH!
Movie Review: Il Divo Can't be Beat!

I've only recently been introduced to the Il Divo products viewing the videos at a friend's home. I immediately went on the internet to find more of their DVDs and CDs. They are all great, but my favorite is Il Divo at the Greek! Even though most of the songs are not in English, they are marvelously romantic, and the voices and harmonies perfectly blended. I can't get enough of them.Movie Review: Il Divo forever great.

Il Divo's new release Promise is both a magnificent musical triumph, but also a promise that we will have many more years of their singing. I have felt all of their releases to be masterpieces, This latest is capping off a career that has thrilled many millions so far. All of their DVD's and CD's are a must for the serious fan of great classical style music set to many pop songs.
