Movie Review: Throughly Enjoyed

I have enjoyed this group since I saw them first on Oprah. I have every CD/DVD they have recorded. This DVD is a wonderful edition even though I have the Encore CD, but this DVD documentary gives the background and personality of the group.It is wonderful to hear good music and hear the words (although most of it is in Italian). It is making me study my Italian more. I enjoy this group and their music so much I am going 1000 miles in April to see their concert. I have never enjoyed another "band" as much as I do IL Divo.
There talent has surpassed any other group, to me they are in the catergory with my other favorites, Elvis Presley and Barbra Steisand.
I not only always watch their DVD's, I play all their CDs constantly from the moment I awake, while on the computer at home and in the office, in my car, etc. In fact, I am finally planning to purchase an IPOD in order to always have their music with me, when I travel etc.

This group is a phenomenom. I recently had the pleasure of seeing them at Radio City Music Hall, and they were enthralling. When I saw that a DVD was available, I immediately ordered one for myself and one for my sister. It was a fabulous find, and my husband and myself enjoy watching and listening to them. I must say that Simon Cowell knows his stuff inasmuch as he is the one that put this group together. Long live Il Divo! I heard this group on youtube and thought I would like a DVD of their music. All reviews of DVDs indicate too much chatter and too little music. Also questionable stereo sound. Does anyone know of a DVD of their musical performance that can be viewed as a "program?" I'm not sure what is meant by having to negotiate to find music etc. I know that is not what I want. Should I wait until this group is better known and brings in a more professional person to direct their future output?Movie Review: Meet the guys

The documentary is well worth watching and gives startling insight into the character of each member of the band. Simon Cowell explains how he put the group together, and they explain how they made it successful. The live concert is somewhat stilted--the segues are stiff, but nonetheless the musicality and unbelievable blending of their voices is beyond compare. The music videos are wonderfully orchestrated to grab your attention and impart an important message.
