Movie Review: Ice age, not so cool edition

If you have the super cool edition on DVD and a good upconversion DVD player, keep it. Picture quality not worth the upgrade. The movie itself is great. Very funny/entertaining.Movie Review: Lo-res original, does not do justice to BluRay's capabilities

This movie is reasonably old and it shows. It is very low res when compared to newer, better computer graphics movies, like Ice Age The Meltdown and Rattatouille.
It shows very much like the standard DVD, without any of the high resolution features you expect from a Blu-Ray movie. You can't see the details of the hairs in Mannie (The Mamoth), Diego (the Tiger) or Sid (the Sloth).
A bit disappointing in the graphics point of view.
Of course, the movie is great. Buy the standard DVD version, same quality.
