Movie Reviews of I Spy - Season 1Movie Review: I spy something... Summary: 5 Stars
The I Spy adventures are a fantastic mix of suspense and comedy. Nobody else could have carried if off like Cosby and Culp. It's quality TV and very enjoyable. They have some great adventures and the thing that makes it stand out is that they have fun doing it. A wonderful trip back in time to when television was family friendly and you didn't have to worry about all the inuendos and trash they tend to show these days. Great stuff!
Movie Review: I Spy Season 1 Summary: 5 Stars
Amazing that Robert Culp did so much to create this series. I had only one episode on these DVD's where the sound was messed up. I liked that some episodes came in two varieties --- with and without commentary.
In the words of Alexander Scott (Cosby's character) it is truly the 'wonderfulness' of an old television friend that makes me want to buy the whole set.
Movie Review: I Spy Season 1 Summary: 5 Stars
Enjoyable spy adventure. First two seasons shot primarily on location all over the world. Season 3 was filmed more in the US. The series is great for the mid-1960s location shots. Bill Cosby and Robert Culp are a good combo Tennis player/coach who spy for the feds. Highly recommended.
Movie Review: Fantastic Summary: 5 Stars
To sum it up in a nut shell. Great picture quality, great sound and above all, great fun. If you love the old classic T.V shows, then you owe it to yourself to get I Spy. Well worth it.
Movie Review: I didn't even know it was in color. Summary: 5 Stars
I guess I always watched I SPY on a black and white TV. Good stories well done. Culp and Cosby "clicked". Episode after episode they just got better. Boy, these are fun to watch.
