Movie Reviews of I.O.U.S.A.

Movie Review: Must See
Summary: 5 Stars

This film is a must-see for every American. It highlights the unfunded national liability, in addition to the national debt, that nobody is talking about. We need to take action now or have the debt take the world and our grandchildren down with it.
~Jim Bennett

Movie Review: You need to know this information!
Summary: 5 Stars

This is one of the best movies I have seen. You need to be educated about how the country is managing its debt and the long term impact on you. Get the movie and watch it.

Movie Review: IOUSA
Summary: 5 Stars

Scary! This is an unsavory subject every American needs to know about. It is an eye-opening lesson about our national debt.

Movie Review: Fantastic

THIS DOCUMENTARY SHOULD BE MANDATORY VIEWING FOR EVERY AMERICAN!!

Movie Review: One Negative: It blames the Victims.
Summary: 4 Stars

Social Security recipients (present, but mostly future) are NOT the problem. Since Reagan flipped the worker's Defined Benefit Retirement Plan to a Defined Contribution Plan in the early 80's, Social Security is often the ONLY money a vast majority of new retirees in this country will have.

Gone are the days of 40 year-jobs ending with a pension and a gold watch. Most people are lucky to hold a job for 4 years now ... and that's with NO pension. Most companies don't even last that long. Add to that the fact that IRA's were arbitrarily capped at $2k a year until recently, and the fact that most wages have stagnated or fallen over the past 4 decades, as well as skyrocketing costs for housing - food - energy - etc., and we've got a real financial disaster in front of us if Social Security is tampered with.

Social Security is the ONLY section of government that runs a surplus. It's time to stop the invasion of it to pay for unnecessary wars and other sections' deficits. In fact, it was Reagan and Bush (41) who began putting Goverment I.O.U.'s into the Social Security Trust Fund, while taking the real money out of it to fund their wars, over their cumulative 3 consectutive terms ... all the while squawking that Social Security must be trimmed or it will go bust.

Health Insurance is the other 100-pound Gorilla in the room. Single Payer is the ONLY answer. Medicare for ALL! Everybody in; nobody out. Spread the risk pool across the entire 300 million of us. Every other industry in America is having to re-tool; why not the insurance industry? Who's protecting them? And why? (HINT: political contributions)

I'd have given this film 5 stars if only it hadn't failed to mention that the real problem is that our National Debt is created by the Federal Reserve (Central) Bank which is owned by PRIVATE interests, not the Governement of the United States. And these private interests make most of their profits in times of WAR!

Until the Governement takes back its Constitutional power to issue its own currency, incurring NO debt to itself, this nation will NEVER be debt free. Period.

Check out [...] and sign the petittion there.

The age of the Wild-Capitalist-West Bansksters is O-V-E-R when all Central Banks are renedered inoperative. But since the U.S. has the highest debt of any nation on earth, it would be best if we started with The Fed in our country first.
