Movie Review: Must-see

This is a must-see for Americans. It goes beyond the partisan showmanship to describe the bleak future we face if we don't address our growing national debt. Today, many politicians attack the debt for their own gain. Many focus their attacks on largely symbolic earmarks or discretionary spending projects. While these issues should be tackled as well, it is dangerously misleading to ignore the the most problematically expensive programs, Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security, that will drive our debt to never-before-seen-levels. Watch this documentary to learn what we must do to lessen the blow we all face a few decades down the road.Movie Review: I.O.U.S.A.--A Must See!

I think every American should be aware of all the information contained in this documentary. Kudos to the director, it is a very easy-to-watch video, even for people like myself who know very little about the workings of our U.S. Government's fiscal policies, as well as its involvement in the economy of our nation. This movie has been a call to action for me, and I hope it will be for anyone else too. I have purchased several copies of this film and given them out to friends and family, and I would recommend to anyone.Movie Review: Compelling and Entertaining

They let no one off the hook, including the American consumer, as one quarter of their four part presentation is directed at how we handle our personal finances.

I.O.U.S.A. Is an exceptional documentary. It is unsettling to realize that this project was completed prior to Congress' approval of the Obama administration's 2009 stimulus package. Every American should watch this video to understand the incredibly desparate condition of our nation's finances. Hopefully, this video will help spur citizens to demand the necessary changes in public policy to avert the demise of our republic.
