Movie Review: Great in every way

Really, really great in every way. These DVDs contain all the episodes of the 2nd season of "I love Lucy" and includes some of the radio-shows as well. The picture and sound quality is very good and even on my 52"-screen quite sharp. The episodes are very funny, even for our modern sense of humor. For me it was the first time that I had the chance to see "I love Lucy" at all since the show was never broadcasted here in Germany. Another thing: The delivery from Amazon.com! It was really fast. I think it took just a little bit more than a week from my order till I got the parcel here in Germany. And I just had the ordinary standard shipping. There is no other tv show that can stand the test of time, like "I LOVE LUCY". It was pure genious on the part of both the writers and the cast. It's a show that you can view the same episode 20 times and still find yourself entertained. Season 2 is one of the shows best seasons. My personal favorite is "The Operetta". Out of all the episodes filmed, the only clunker was "The Christmas Show", which Lucy originally kept out of syndication because she didn't like it either. The DVD set? It's the best $50 bucks you can spend on a DVD.Movie Review: Third season???????

We absolutely love the packaging !!! Its better than first season although theres nothing there to complain about either. I want all the lucy episodes I cant wait. This is the season where Lucy gave birth to Little Ricky. Unlike other shows, the baby doesn't die or disappear. Little Ricky is a regular part of the show and the parents adapt to having their new baby around. The episodes are funny and still inspired. This season contains the show where Lucy and Ethel try to wrap chocolates in an assembly line to hilarious results and the highest rated show on television ever - the show where Lucy gives birth to Little Ricky. Wonderful, great season.
