Movie Review: House of Wax a Gothic Horror Masterpiece

Inventive original Gothic Horror Masterpiece featuring the legondary Vincent Price in one of best early performances. I believe that this was his first Horror Movie.No mystery he became an icon. This movie is timeless, captivating, chilling, and highly stylish one of the finest Horror Films that I've ever seen. I SAW THIS MOVIE BACK IN 1953.......AT MY LOCAL MOVIE THEATER IN ITS ORIGINAL PRESENTATION IN 3-D.......I WAS JUST A CHILD BACK THEN, AND I MUST SAY.......IT SCARED THE HECK OUT OF ME.......AND GAVE ME MANY HIGHLY RECCOMEND THIS FINE EARLY HORROR CLASSICI HOPE IT DOEST SCARE YOU AS MUCH AS IT DID ME ALL THOSE YEARS AGO...

Summary: 5 Stars An incredibly good movie. Vincent Price at his best. Unlike a lot of horror movies during the 30s, 40s, 50s, and even the 60s this movie is not cheesy. A classic (it's even a remake from an earlier great classic movie [1933's Mystery of the Wax Museum], which is included in this version). A good buy for the one interested in old, creepy horror classics.
Movie Review: Oldie but goodie

I found The Ghost and Mr. Chicken at Amazon and upon seeing the price, jumped on it. I remembered seeing this film as a child and thought it was a perfect family style film to watch with my children for Halloween as it has that perfect combination of just a bit of creepiness with lots of laughs and a little drama.
