Movie Review: Same old House.
Summary: 5 Stars
People are complaining so much about how this season sucked but I think it was really good. So there are a few relationships going on big whoop. The show is also about the doctors lives not just the patients. True some episodes could have been better but I still enjoyed them and anticipated them every week. Especially with the last two episodes of the season. They have to be in my top episodes of House and I can't wait for next season. Which I'm sure the few minor problems, jokes,some twists weren't very good,some episodes should have focused more on the patient etc. they will be fixed. I really believe that the next season of House will have some of the greatest episodes yet.Movie Review: House MD

My Husband and I started viewing the series this year. We have purchased all the DVD's and were counting down the release date of season five. We were not disapointed, the writers are brilliant, the sarcasm and humor are great and we enjoy each show. We are always looking for new "Housisms", those cynical, snarky comments that we wish we could get away with. Just be forwarned, watching this show. may make you slip up and become irreverent, you may find yourself blurting outexactly what you are thinking. Both my husband and I have said things"out in the world" then came home and realized we had been watching "too much House" ! I enjoyed this season very much despite differences from other seasons, or perhaps because of the differences. Changes need to happen for a show to continue. I think Laurie is a great, great actor and the ensemble cast is excellent. Wd love to see more of Amber[...] even tho' she's dead. It doesn't seem to stop her. Let's have more. When a series ends -- as with The West Wing, my favorite series of all time-- it ENDS and that's that. So let's not be in a hurry to get rid of House. I await the next season with fascination. BTW my medical friends point out that it is not to be taken too seriously when you actually go to the doctor!

I have all of the seasons so far and can hardly wait for each new episode to be aired. Hugh Laurie does an amazing job as Gregory House. He manages to make the dark humor of this series have more of an impact without ever becoming overbearing. Many talented actors and actresses grace this series and make it truly spectacular. David Shore keeps the series moving without ever making you feel as though it's in motion simply for the sake of being in motion. I have watched this series over and over again and it always feels fresh. I recommend this series to anyone looking for a thoughtful yet funny series worth seeing more than once.Movie Review: One drawback

I love House - just incredible. Nothing I can take away from the show, as a show itself. Detailed, deep characters, intricate plots, fun puzzles.
But the DVD - what were they thinking????
Season 4, I understood - writers strike, everything a bit off. But they used to have FUN extras - the Valley Girl stuff was worth buying the DVD by itself. Now - just plain straight boring extras. Come on now guys! Give us something fun! Not more of the directors and writers talking and congratulating themselves for a well done show (and it is) - give us something fun!
