Movie Review: Cheap in many ways
Summary: 3 Stars
You get what you pay for with this set. The price here on Amazon is terrific, and you do get many gems in this collection. It is also an awesome way of building up your collection cheaply. I did however take out my copies of Last Man on Earth and the Night of the Living Dead to compare with the ones presented on this set. After a side by side viewing, there is no way I will be getting rid of my copies. The versions presented on this set are dark, filled with pops and crackles, and the print is terrible. That is not to say all the films are that way, many are actually quite good copies. The film grade is as mixed as the movies themselves, you have some really stinkers and some sparkling jewels. Overall for the price, it is well worth the purchase to get so many movies.
