I'm a big Holly Hunter fan but regardless of that this movie was hilarious. The situations and family interactions were all too familiar to real life whether it was my family or a friends. Jodie Foster (director) hit a home run with this movie. Hysterically funny at times, great performances all around, memorable characters, a wonderful study in family dynamics. God I love this movie, it has to be one of my all time favorites! This could be my own parents house at Thanksgiving when they were still alive.
