Movie Review: Heart-warming!!!!

This is a heartfelt movie it really does warm your heart it is about a Alfre Woodard a crack user with a daughter that she mistreats and steals from it is about them meeting a drag-queen"Holiday"(Ving Rames) who feels sorry for them and helps them out and allows them to live with him and him and Nikki becomes the best of friends and Wanda the crack user ends up dying this is a good movie and a real tear-jerker!!!!!I would truly recommend any Alfre Woodard and Ving Rhanes fan to buy this dvd because it is very good with superb acting!!!!

I don't often feel compelled to write a glowing review of film, since that's my trade, however I must sing the beauty of both the story and the acting in "Holiday Heart." It is a fine, heartwarming story, brilliantly conceived and executed. Ving Rhames should have been nominated for "Best Actor." This story has edge, grit, beauty and deftly explores the significance of all kinds of close, personal "friendships." I give this film as a gift to those I care about.Movie Review: Great family story

It says a lot when an established actor does a part that is totally diferent from his normal roles. Ving Rhames does and outstanding job as a homosexual man who befriends a mother and her daughter. Alfre Woodard is excellent as the crack addit mother. This story will tug at all your emotions as they go through many ups and downs that people can relate to. I watched on cable and immediately had to purchase it on DVD. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a heartfelt story.Movie Review: I LOVE this movie.

Ving Rhames & Alfre Woodard in the same movie why would it not be good. This movie will have you laughing and also touch your heart. Ving Rhames a cross-dresser and Alfre Woodard a recovering drug addict and her daughter Nikki are given shelter to by Holiday (Ving Rhames)Hard times fall on mother and daughter and Holiday is stuck in the middle trying to hold the small family together. Holiday has past issues of his own that he must face in order to help his new found friends.Movie Review: loved it

I normaly hate watching most tv movies, but as I was channel surfing, one day, I came across this and seeing Holiday (Ving Rhames) saving Wanda(Alfre Woodard) from an beat down, it just stopped me and I began watching. Seeing Wanda slowly go from a women who loves and cares for her daughter, to a druggy and prostitute, broke my heart. And seeing Ving take a role that not many men will do,(except the guys in "To Wong Foo with Love Julie Newmar") that takes guts, and style.
