Movie Reviews of Hitman (Unrated Edition)

Movie Review: Hitman hits the mark!
Summary: 5 Stars

Pure action / adventure escapism, Hitman does a nice job of balancing a credible plot with the inevitable fights and explosions. Tim Olyphant is very good as a stoic, very disciplined hitman. I think he tends to be a bit stiff in his delivery anyway (sorry Tim) and in this case it plays right into the character. Olga Kurylenko steals every scene she's in. Her costuming is outstanding and her acting makes a believeable Hooker and bad guy girlfriend. Well produced and directed, the action sequences are tight and exciting, the explosions semi-believeable. I did a rewind - slo-mo at least twice because of jaw-droppers. The movie felt a tad long. But not so long as to make me feel uncomfortable. So I think Hitman is a very good action flick with As or Bs in every category. Four out of five stars.

Movie Review: The Best Action Film Of 2009.
Summary: 5 Stars

I really hate to admit that I love this film. I have watched it at least 4 times in the past 6 months.

We start with an excellent script, and perfect casting. Timothy Olyphant could play this role forever.

And the action rivals Die Hard 4. Remember, since it is an action film, you have to leave your brains at the door. Do not pick out all of the holes in the plot. Stop asking "why this, and why that" and just go for the super charged ride.

For action lovers, this film does not disappoint. For lovers of beautiful women, this film does not disappoint.

Buy new or used -- you won't regret it.

Movie Review: Hitman (Unrated Edition)...
Summary: 5 Stars

I can't offer any more on the positive reviews that you may have already read. There is action, lots of it! I actually like the storyline where our Hitman 47 (Tim Olyphant) has to figure his way out of the mess he finds himself in. And, though pretty girls in movies don't impress me one bit, Nika (Olga Kurylenko) makes her presence felt in the limited number of scenes she's given (and HOW!!). Are there better stories out there? Yes! More realistic? Yes! Throw your standards to the side, sit back, relax and have fun with this "Unrated" editon of HITMAN.

I rate this movie: 5 Stars!

Movie Review: Forget the game, watch the movie!!
Summary: 5 Stars

I ordered Hitman, mostly because I have the game and figured it would be a few hours of good entertainment. But I got much more than that. Timothy Olyphant makes an awesome "Hitman" with his stoic reserve and 'knows what to do in every situation' hero. The scenes are stunning, and plot twists engaging without being the usual rehash of old recycled plots. If you are a fan of shoot em up action films, then you will really enjoy this one. So there, my opinion, without any spoilers :)

Movie Review: Hitman: For Fans Only
Summary: 5 Stars

As a loyal customer of the Hitman franchise, I felt it was my duty to see this movie when it came out. Olyphant's dialog was good, but lacked the scary mystique of true 47 dialog. Basically, if you liked the games, you will like this movie. If you don't know any of the backstory, which was developed in the game series, you will be at a loss when watching this film. If you bought the Hitman game series, this will finish out your collection nicely.
