Movie Review: For Seniors: Hidden treasure
Summary: 4 Stars

Based loosely on the Snidely Whiplash character - the bad man at the bank, who has a mustache, is coming to take away the house - but fleshed out in the best possible choice of actors and setting, this is a pleasant surprise and a keeper. Characters are deeper than in most of the "unlikely couple" movies, and revealed in charming ways throughout. (Tough not to want to run to the store for orange juice after it is over.) Clearly a family movie in many ways, it is, however, wise to consider that some children identify way too strongly with the loss by death of a father figure, and the gravesite scenes.

Probably the target audience is those who have experienced some level of depression-era living, either personally or by recount from parents. It would be less attractive to those who toss away last year's ipod and a four year old computer, while living in Dad's basement.

Movie Review: Good clean family film...GREAT TO SEE!
Summary: 4 Stars

I was so glad to see a film that they did not have to insert one swear word. That always ruins movies for me-like in "Straight from the Heart." This is a good clean film. The acting by the three main characters was pretty good...It was a good "Hallmark" movie. I found some of the acting a little lacking so gave it four stars.

If you have read the book...don't expect this to be exactly the same. Not enough time to develop the plot. This is a good story in its own right, but is quite a bit different than the book.

If you like a good clean family film with a heart touching story-this one is for you!

This movie was very good and clean for the whole family to watch. It is a rare thing in today's world to find a movie that is clean and wholesome to watch and enjoy. The acting was very good, the scenery was beautiful, the story was realistic for todays farmer and family life. Well done! I would definitely recommend to my friends.

I like sappy love stories so this fits right in to what I normally buy. I got this movie simply based on "Customers Who Bought Items in Your Recent History Also Bought" section on amazon.com and was happy I did
