Movie Review: The Nuremburg Rallies of Cute
Summary: 4 Stars
This was the point (2005) at which Hello Project live shows had become their most massive. Hundreds of girls performing their hearts out to massive arenas full of Japanese fans. They were like the Nuremburg Rallies of Cute. Tsunku himself must have realised that it was all threatening to become a bit overwhelming, distancing the fans from the personalities of the girls, so subsequent shows would see the "Elders" (the older members of Hello Project, the long-time graduates, etc.) spun off into separate shows, bringing things back to manageable size. While not the greatest Hello Project concert ever, this one is certainly worth watching for the great schoolgirl/tartan skirt-inspired costumes and because it was Kaori's graduation concert. It was about time!
