Movie Reviews of Head OfficeMovie Review: A Very Funny Movie That Pre-Dates "Office Space" Summary: 4 Stars
The title draws a comparison to "Office Space", because that seems to be the cult movie of this generation's cubicle angst crowd, and there is some similarity in overall concept. That is where IMO the comparison ends.
I'm uncertain as to why this always gets billed as a Judge Reinhold movie as "Head Office" assembles quite a cast of talented actors and really nails the sarcasm of big business during the period that it was released in (Regan's America circa early 80s). And while it certainly looks dated (low budget video quality of the day), I suspect that the youngsters of today may find it dated in theme as well, because big business has changed quite a bit in the fifteen or so years we're talking about here.
Yet if you were a young guy working in corporate America during that period, this is an absolute blast of a flick and to its credit, it does a great job of rankling the financial and oil markets and their positions within big business

Movie Review: widescreen release Summary: 4 Stars
for anyone interested in specifications, this is a widescreen release. there are no special features. the movie stands on it's own, so i need not review it. many people will wait for the widescreen release, since several studios (warner brothers in particular) try to cash in twice on the same title by releasing a 16x9 version then a year later the true widescreen version. most sights will not tell you, but this movie is presented in widescreen, so you needn't wait. hope this helps.
Movie Review: The original Office Space Summary: 4 Stars
I first saw this movie about four years ago when it was on TV. This movie is hilarious from the start to the finish. With the great roles of Rick Moranis and Danny Devito to the character of Max Landsberger by Richard Masur, who's one liners are what make this movie. But of course the movie would not hold with out Judge Reinhold and Jane Seymour. This movie set the standard for the office comedy. Truely a classic, I highly recommend!
Movie Review: God Bless Corporate America Summary: 4 Stars
The DoJ, FTC and SEC should use this as a training aid for thier people.
Made in 1986 the contents of this flick still hold true to this day.
It's non-stop comedy is only matched by how disturbingly accurate Corporate America actually functions inside and outside the US.
Great actors, good storyline, cheap price. Highly recommended for everyone 18 and up!
Movie Review: Head Office Summary: 4 Stars
This movie is very funny and highly underated. It surprises me that it's never shown on tv.
