Movie Review: Head Office - Look Out Below!
Summary: 5 Stars
I used to watch this back in the day on HBO. It was funny then, & it still holds up today. The cast & the cameos are a treat. Judge Reinhold plays Jack, a college grad being thrown up the ladder of a corrupt mega-corporation. Richard Masur plays Jack's 'mentor', Max.
Max: Lesson No.4 - the secret to survival here is never make a decision.
Jack: Never?

This is good, plain fun!
I was worried when I saw that the DVD aspect ratio was listed as full-screen (1.33:1), but this comment on the Amazon customer review by Nicholas Moore "nicklesm17" confirms what I've seen on my new DVD --Floridante says: The release is in anamorphic widescreen, but unfortunately it is the wrong aspect ratio. The title credits are presented in the original ratio of 2.35:1, everything else was reduced to a 1.85:1 ratio via pan & scan.-- Good enough for me! It was great to finally see it in wide screen.

Movie Review: The "Office Space" of the '80s
Summary: 5 Stars
While this movie never made it big in the theaters, it is truly a cult classic. Judge Reinhold plays a Havard Business School MBA graduate who is snapped up by a mega-corporation that "makes everything from hair removal cream to nuclear war heads" so that the company can gain favor with his father, who is the senator in charge of Latin-American affairs. The company, INC International, wants to kill it's manufacturing plant in Allenville and move it to Central America where labor is cheaper. Judge Reinhold tries to make sense of what is going on around him and of course chaos ensues. I can't help but think that "Office Space" took many of its cues from this movie.
Stars include Danny DeVito, Rick Moranis as the stressed out marketing VP, Eddie Albert is the megalomaniacal CEO, Jane Seymore plays the public relations VP sleeping her way to the top, Wallace Shaun as a terminally ill executive, and Don Novello (aka Father Guido Sarduchi of SNL fame) is the limo driver. Ken Finkleman directs this masterpiece.
Movie Review: Great Movie, Great Price!!

My husband & I were so happy to see that this movie was out on DVD we bought it right away. Used to have it on VHS, but those days are definitely bygone. Amazon is a really great source to find those older classics that you love on DVD that you can't find at any of the stores. Also Amazon has awesome customer service, we had a problem with the order, I got someone else's to begin with, but I was actually able to speak with a rep who straightened everything out instead of just having to frustratingly deal with the issue online. When the CEO of a large corporation can't have someone killed what good is it to be the CEO. This is just a start with Head Office. This movie should be a must for anyone working in a large corporation. The characters are just great, "I didn't make that decision, I just ahhhhh approved someone elses decision."
For a a good light hearted comedy this is one realistic movie.
