Movie Review: Best One Yet!
Summary: 5 Stars
The fifth installment in the harry potter series, The Order of the Phoenix, happens to be my favorite book. It also is my favorite movie.
I went at midnight on July 10th to see it and it was packed with HP fans. I knew it would, becuase these movies are very popular. On to the review.
The acting is just incredible. Daniel Radcliffe provides a much better, funnier, less hairier, role of Harry Potter. Rupert Grint is at his funniest. Emma Wattson seems less nerdy and more hysterical. One of my favorite characters of the movie is Proffesor Dolores Umbridge played by Imelda Staunton, Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher in the film. She is teaching the students risk-free, non-defensive spells the Ministry has set up. The Ministry of Magic believes the return of Voldemort is false.
All the other actors and actresses are back and looking good. Like Michael Gambon (Dumbledore), Alan Rickman (Severus Snape), Maggie Smith (Proffesor McGonagall), Emma Thompson (Sybill Trewlaney), Robbie Coltrane (Rubeus Hagrid), Ralph Fiennes (Voldemort), and Gary Oldman (Sirius Black). Some new characters make an appearance like Bellatrix Lestrange, a death eater who tortured Neville (Matthew Lewis's) parents. She is voiced by Helena Bonham Carter. Another newbie is Luna Lovegood played by Evanna Lynch. She is a new student at Hogwarts.
My favorite scene is when Fred and george escape from Hogwarts and blow fireworks off. I also like it when they have D.A. meetings in the Room of Requiremtent.
I was a bit disappointed to see that they left out a lot at the end. They were supposed to be in a room with alot of doors and Ron was supposed to be attacked by a brain. I also disliked Snape's Worst Memory. He was supposed to go into the Pensive! The O.W.L.'s when kind of short and cut off but I didn't mind it much.
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is the best HP film yet! 10/10.
