Movie Reviews of Hardball

Movie Review: A Great DVD With A Little Extra
Summary: 5 Stars

This DVD is great. It first of all is a great movie!! It tells how real life is for some people in our society today. It has trials that some may go through in life. Plus if you like baseball you will love it. On DVD's we all know they have extras. On this DVD they have great deleted scenes, the music video of the theme song, also they have a behind the scenes look at how they learned to play baseball. This DVD is AWESOME, so I recommend it to everyone.

Movie Review: The profanity used is the reality of the inner city children...
Summary: 5 Stars

I chose to watch this movie for a class in college. Many people have dissaproved of this movie because of all the swearing. Needless to say, the words used by the boys on the baseball team are the exact words that the children raised in the inner city use. The movie is very realistic. I would recommend this movie...it is not a good idea for a younger child to watch it because the conditions in the neighborhood are very bad. The movie is sad but real!!!

Movie Review: Hardball
Summary: 5 Stars

The movie proved that Keanu Reeves is very capable of expressing emotions on screen, contrary to his harshest critics. He was able to convey his initial attitude change from someone who was only coaching a kid's baseball team for money he desparately needed, to someone who genuinely cared with subtle finesse. It wasn't a cartoon character performance. The child actors also performed at a professional level not expected from their age group.

Movie Review: Hardball
Summary: 5 Stars

Hardball is a great movie. The basic story line is, Conner O'Neil (Reeves) is a gambler, & owes the people hes gambled with $1200 total. He askes his friend for the money, but he wont give it to him. But he coaches a baseball team. So he makes Conner an offer. If Conner coaches the baseball team for the rest of the season, he'll give him $500 a week. But when he starts coaching the team, the team stinks, and the kids wont stop fighting.

Movie Review: excellent film
Summary: 5 Stars

ok so at first it might look bad but it takes a turn for the best when g baby shows up. this was a downright good film to watch. diane lane finnally got out of her acting slump and made a reallly great charector out of elizabeth wilkes. its got its funny moments but close to the end you will be crying. i was sure crying. see this over the incredibly flawed dont say a word.
