Movie Review: Very romantic, sweet time-travel love story

Wow! I loved this movie! I never would have guessed that a romantic-comedy could double as a sci-fi flick, but Happy Accidents does just that beautifully. I've always been a fan of Marisa Tomei's so it's no surprise that I thought she was great in this -- all of the actors were terrific.
The story is romantic and sweet, but with substance. It's a thinking girl's (or guy's) romantic-comedy. I found myself rooting for the main characters, no matter how implausible their plight because that's what good movies are supposed to be able to do: move the audience into suspended belief.
If you want a romantic, feel-good movie about the power of love, you can't do better than this.

Happy Accidents is one of those films you stumble upon, then can't believe not everyone has heard of. It's clever, suspenseful, funny and engaging. Marisa Tomei plays a New Yorker in search of love. As New Yorkers are apt to do, she details the ups and downs of her search to her shrink. She's just met the most wonderful guy. Then she realizes all of a sudden he's crazy. Or is he? This is a film that can't easily be categorised. I would call it perhaps a Sci-Fi-therapy-suspense-comedy. Whatever you call it, it's a tremendously uplifting film, warm but not sappy. Unfortunately disregarded when initially released, this film provides two excellent, perfectly cast performances, a strong story line and a superb supporting ensemble, making it one of the best films of its genre. Comedy and/or drama, the film is a winner. I found subsequent viewings to be more revelatory and made my experience even more enriched. Do not read the video or DVD box if you rent and try not to know what the film is about. This will keep you in suspense until the climax. And boy, does it reward!!Thank you, Ms. Tomei and Mr. D'Onofrio.

I work at a video store. One day I decided to rent this movie. I watched it really late at night when I usually fall asleep watching movies. I couldn't get enough of this. I actually teared at the end and that hasn't happened since My Girl! I bought it within a week! Vincent D'onofrio is fantastic! He's such a versatile actor, it's hard to believe he was the bad guy in Men In Black! I'm a hopeless romantic and I loved this movie! So if you like romance or independent films, you'll like this too!Movie Review: One of the BEST! Wait, it IS the BEST!

I rented this DVD just for kicks one day. The first time I watched it I was very confused of the plot, but the story is highly entertaining! It's a BRILLIANT with GREAT cast members. Throughout the entire movie you will be surprised by little twists and turns that are in no way predictable. If you like movies that are a little out of the ordinary, this is it! I LOVE this movie! I'd have to warn you, either you will love this movie or be bored out of your mind. It's different, you'll see!
