Movie Review: Great concert DVD..with a few flaws
Summary: 4 Stars
While alot of people find this concert DVD/Video disappointing...i think it was for the wrong reasons. They are growing up, so im happy that there is no puff brocoli apperances in this video....however, i think they could have chose better songs for the video....or added a few more songs. I think the point of a concert video is to show the highlights of the show/shows. I dont think hanson achieved that. I think some of the Major Highlights from the tour, as far as songs go, were "Lucy", "I want you to want me", "piece of my heart"....etc. they didnt show any of those. I would have especially liked to have seen "Lucy", because its not very often we will beable to see hanson sing that song.
Now i got the DVD...and im also disapointed with the lack of special features. Some behind the scenes would have been nice, or a few extra songs..like an encore.
I think they also should have combined all the different shows. I went to the one in NYC where Johny lang came out.....now hand and hand is a very boring song to watch them sing...i think if they put the Hand in Hand from NYC with Johny Lang that would have added to the video alot. Or even whatever show it was that John Propper performed If Only with them...they could have showed that.
One thing that i am happy is they didnt put that God Awful cover of "Crosstown Traffic" why they chose to cover that song i will never know. No one sings that song like Jimi and no one should try either.
One other thing: They did a bad job showing Hanson's love of music in this video. Maybe its just bad timing of the camera man...but they always get Zac smiling while hes singing, and it really makes it seem like he loves what hes doing. as apposed to Taylor and Isaac...they dont have many of those shots...shots that show that they are enjoying themselves...
Why did i give it 4 stars? because its hanson, and no matter what, i will always love watching them sing....so this DVD is better than no DVD at all.

Movie Review: The Rockin' Woohin' Fillmore
Summary: 4 Stars
The color and sound on the DVD version is excellent. It also comes with some neat extras. However, I thought Hanson could have done a little bit better on this one. Their other videos were more "fan-friendly". By that, I am talking about all the home video footage, interviews, and behind the scenes stuff that "At The Fillmore" is lacking. The concert is great (the 60 minutes of it that is available), but if you're going to make a video, why not make a video? Hanson has shown fans in the past that they are willing to go over the top. From what Hanson has been capable of doing, "At The Fillmore" produces somewhat of a disappointment. What IS there is pretty good, but the problem is, there's not much there (the reason for my rating). I would still recommend this item to any Hanson fan (a must have for the collection, of course), and anyone who missed Hanson on tour. This is still a good video, but Hanson has done better. (Has anyone counted how many times Taylor says "wooh!" in this video?)
Movie Review: Awesome DVD!

Aaah, God! I felt like I was at the Fillmore with Hanson while watching this DVD! The picture and sound is magnificent, and they sound sooo damn good! I was singing at the top of my lungs and dancing and jumping and waving and otherwise following Taylor's instructions. I discovered again why I love Hanson so much, and it took me back to my own concert experience. I can't wait to see them in person again! But for the time being, "At The Fillmore" will certainly tide me over. Pick it up if you're a Fanson, or if you're just a fan of great music!Movie Review: EXCELLENT! NEED I SAY MORE!

Well... the boys have done good. This concert is more of a warm up for their American tour, they certainly proved once again what a talent they really are. I am so proud to be a hanson fan. This DVD wasnt released here in the UK so i ordered it from Amazon. I was looking forward to the Bonus material advertised on here especially the live footage of their tour but was very disappointed to find it didnt even exist!, this is the only let down of the DVD...Movie Review: Finally a new performance...!

It's really good that Hanson came out with a new video! It's really good, with a full of energy performance. I just wish they had some kind of interview etc. on the DVD, all it is is them playing a concert and it gives you 2 of their music videos, but something a little extra would have been nice, but great none the less!
