Movie Review: Lose your misconceptions! You MUST hear this! It rocks!

I'm an old school rock-pop dinosaur, and I'm just thankful I followed the advice of a gurly friend and gave Hanson a try, because even if you don't like them as teens, check them out now that they are older and have spent more years playing and writing than most in the scene. THEIR music and harmonies from the more recent "This Time Around" release are featured in this DVD that gives them their rightful place amongst the greats that have rocked the Fillmore. Many in rock history have recognized Hanson, it's time you joined, and this DVD will make you wonder about the future if they are this good now. I can't get enough of this DVD! It has bonus videos and weblinks, too! They are Karma to show that you are at a loss to prejudge, so forget about the young girls if YOU have to(a fan is a fan, we're all family) and listen to the music. The Beatles had a devoted following of young girls, so what's wrong if they're right? This DVD will be looked at as a classic years from now when Hanson rules the scene, because the band and the music has grown up so much, and it's all accepted by the old fans as well as new. I'm sure many fans will drop off, but their music is only going to get better, and there is a tight knit community of fans that are as diverse as the Deadheads were (they played a set with the Dead-Further and Ratdog)that will be with them long into the future. And remember GOOD pop songs and rock bands stay around forever. The best rock bands have had the greatest songs in rock's history on pop radio. There is nothing wrong with a catchy tune if it rocks, and you can see some real good old rock and roll on this DVD. If you look at more than their faces you will see that all of them can jam at their respective instruments. Go ahead and play whatever favorite you like, they are all good. Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys called them the future of music, so again I am not alone in my recomendation. Check out their version of Steppenwolf's "Magic Carpet Ride" and you will get an idea of their real roots-Rock and Roll! Between growing up listening to the best rock and harmonies and just being so darn talented and playing so hard and often you plain and simple will be making a major mistake right now if you don't hook yourself into the Hanson scene with their fan sites and new music coming out, because your going to be sorry you missed out on all the fun down the road when they will eventually reign supreme. This is the best way for you to see them perform and get into their talent and music with a DVD for the price of a CD. This will be such a part of your collection years from now that you will laugh at the pittance you spent on. Best stuff I have heard since the early seventies. It's been decades since I was this excited about music, and I have been listening to only the best for most of my forty one years. Think of the other bands that have played the Fillmore, watch this and you will see the recreation of the old school poster for them is fitting.
