Movie Review: Good intro to Spanish.
Summary: 5 Stars
Handy Manny is another good introduction to basic Spanish words. My 3-year old Son really enjoys the story lines, and of course, all of the toy tools in his toolbox are named after the character tools from the movie. Involves teamwork, problem-solving, social skills, and basic Spanish.

Join handy manny & his posse of mismatched tools who work together to fix problems around their neighborhood & learn messages of teamwork friendship community & basic spanish skills! Studio: Buena Vista Home Video Release Date: 08/21/2007Kids who can't get enough of Bob the Builder should also enjoy Handy Manny. Manny Garcia (voiced by Wilmer Valderrama, That '70s Show) is a genial handyman in the town of Sheetrock Hills who--with the assistance of his talking tools, which range from a workaholic pair of pliers to an anxiety-prone monkey wrench--helps his friends and neighbors keep their homes and businesses in good repair. Each of the five episodes included on Tooling Around has a simple moral lesson related to using the right tool for the right job (emphasizing that everyone has something special about them) and the importance of working together. Meanwhile, the candy store owner next door provides examples of the bad consequences of trying to do too much by yourself. The stories and dialogue are simple but colorful and kids may end up singing the short but peppy songs nonstop. Also included on Tooling Around is a simple game that cultivates memory skills as kids try to remember where the appropriate tools are located in Manny's workshop. --Bret Fetzer
