Movie Reviews of Halloween

Movie Review: the grandfather of all horror movies....perhaps the greatest.
Summary: 5 Stars

the movie "Halloween" doesn't need an introduction. It was a huge hit when it was released and spawned several sequels. It has influenced just about every horror movie that has come after it (in one way or another).

it didn't need to rely on a lot of special effects or buckets of blood to terrify you. The atmosphere, music, and shadowy lighting were enough to keep you on the edge of your seat.

Also, the relationship triangle of Michael, the Jamie Lee Curtis character, and Dr. Loomis was very dynamic on many levels, and rich psychologically.

John Carpenter's "The Thing" is also a must-see for horror fans.

Movie Review: The original is still creepy after all these years
Summary: 5 Stars

What makes this film great is what it does not show. There is no huge avalanche of blood, none of the sadistic torture porn cruelty that passes for horror these days. It's mostly psychological, with the sociopathic, incurable Michael Myers watching and stalking young people, mostly women, in his hometown after escaping from a mental institution.

Jamie Lee Curtis is wonderful as the scrappy Laurie Strode, who must try to protect herself as well as two young kids.

The music is also very effective, with the thudding piano sounding much like the pounding heartbeat of a frightened person.

Good stuff!

Movie Review: Classic
Summary: 5 Stars

Way better than Rob Zombies versions, they keep making remakes to all these classic horror films when they need to contiue the franshises, not only that, they're making the remakes look ridiculous Michael and Jason are silent killers they dont whine grunt or any of that and they made there characters a whole lot weaker Kane Hodder played the best Jason and whoever played Michael in pt. 1,2,4,5,6, and 7 played Michael very good, the resurrection was'nt all that how Michael gonna get his butt whooped by busta rhymes? and Jason does'nt run so yea aint nothing like the originals.

Movie Review: Collectables
Summary: 5 Stars

The spooky atmosphere makes these films. I recommend this Film to anyone. My favourite movies are pts 1-5. Pt 1 - 3 brings me back to my youth and the DVD transfers are fine, and the colours are brillant, Jamie lee rocks and is very well done BUT if you are after something intelligent, this is not for you, for the films are a fun and entertaining session of good-looking horny teens getting slashed. Not great but what the hell its all popcorn stuff anyway. If anyone is interested in Halloween collectables, email taylor5821@hotmail.com

Movie Review: Halloween. The Definitive Horror Movie-A Classic.
Summary: 5 Stars

Halloween Parts 1 And 2, Are Definitive Horror Movie Classics,It is disturbing yes, Disturbing as you would see On any night of News Coverage on Television,or as Disturbing as People's everyday Declining Morals,But the movie is What Horror Movies Should be, Not meant to Glamorize Crime, but that there is Evil In the World sadly. This movie is not the typical Gore Zombie Movie,But it will creep you out!Not to mention the Eerie track!Donald Pleasence is awesome as is a Beautiful Jamie Lee Curtis Before she ruined her hair!
