Movie Reviews of Halloween - ResurrectionMovie Review: A Brilliant Trailer Summary: 5 Stars
I've only seen the trailer for this film, it felt like a breathe of fresh air for me. The exterior of the Myers house felt like the first Myers House. The interior looks like how it would look after the events of the first two films and not furnished like in 6 and looking WAY diffrent like in 5. The trailer as a whole is Brilliant, but the best part is in the middle when the voiceover guy says "But the house belongs to him..." and then flash cut to some of the characters screaming and a webcam shot of Michael coming towards you in his methodical gait with only a flashlight pin spot on his upper body with the Halloween 4 Theme underscoring. Another kewl part is at the very end when Michael bursts out of what a appears to be a mirror grabbing the guy from American Pie and of course MISS Jamie Lee Curtis confronting her brother again...for one last time? Guess you'll have to see the film to find out.
Movie Review: Scary and Intelligent - Rosethal knows what he is doing Summary: 5 Stars
"Halloween: Resurrection" was the directed by Rick Rosenthal and it shows, the clever use of camera angles, lighting and set pieces all goes in the films favour, also Rosenthal's complete accuracy on the Myer's house is pleasing to see. The characters are a breath of fresh air also.Every element in the movie is in the right place. This is far more intelligent than people might think, but the key element that does stand out is the sense of realism, Rosenthal pulls the right strings. Such as the spine tingling score, the unhuman faced mask of michael is accruate to that of the original. he also pays homage to his own movie "Halloween II" and Steve Miner's "H20" (not to mention John Carpenter's "Halloween"). This movie puts many previous "Halloween" sequals to shame. Alot of thought was put into this movie. It's the best sequal yet.

Movie Review: A great ride from the first moment! Summary: 5 Stars
I had to travel one town over to see the movie when it opened today and it was well worth my time! From the moment it started, the action barely let up. I had made predictions on the plot before going in and it had enough twists in it to make sure I got quite a few of my ideas wrong, which is a wonderful suprise in a movie series that many say has outlived itself. The acting was above average on the whole and Bianca Kajlich was wonderful! I'll go out on a limb and say that she did a better job as a heroine in a horror movie than anyone since Jamie Lee Curtis. I'm looking forward to seeing her career take off like a rocket after this one! The script was good, the movie was well-made, there were plenty of surprises and squeal inducing moments and I'd go see it again in a heartbeat.
Movie Review: HALLOWEEN:RESURRECTION FOREVER Summary: 5 Stars
The 8th entry has Michael Myers killing Laurie in the local nuthouse and returning to his house and kill webcam teens searching his house but they die and it takes people to kill Michael.this film is the best in the series espically the deleted scenes and alternate endings on the dvd.but parts 4 and 6 are the best.the Internet/Headcam thing is silly, but the cast like Bianca Kajlich,Busta Rhymes,Tyra Banks,Katee Seckhoff,Sean Patrick Thomas,Thomas Ian Nicholas, and Ryan Merriman, plus a cameo by Jamie Lee Curtis are quite well-casted.but one thing about this film that is bad is Michael's mask it is worser than his masks in parts 5 and H2O,you can see his eyes making him goofier than scarier.Rated R for Graphic Violence,Language,Some Sexual Content and Nudity, and Brief Drug Use.
