Movie Review: HALLOWEEN 2 EXCELENT!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

Halloween 2 was written again by john carpenter and debra hill, but this time directed by rick rosenthal (who in the future will direct the crappy halloween resurrection), the story is so original, and so decent, it starts just when the first one left us off...laurie strode is in haddonfield hospital under care of jimmy, and a few nurses...but michael myers is still alive and he goes to the hospital to try to kill his sister again...but dr.loomis could stop him...before he got finally his sister...
I love the movie it's so excelent and original!!! i think that is better than the first one but just for a little!!!...is great!!! the dvd is not very good...but...the movie is great!!
the extras includes..."production notes", "trailers", "filmographies", "subtitles", etc...

THE STORY: 5/5
ACTING: 4.5/5
DIRECTION: 4/5
GORE: 4.8/5
DVD: 3/5

Movie Review: Excellent sequel with great scares!
Summary: 5 Stars

This movie is in no way as good as the original, but nobody can expect it to be. It IS a very satisying sequel that promises great scares and the very chilling Michael Myers. It features an excellent plot, great acting, and a very creepy setting.

It takes place in the same night as the original. Laurie Strode has been taken to the hospital. It's late at night. The hospital is nearly empty. There's only a few workers at the hospital. They are the only ones there.. except for Michael. He's found his way back to terrorize Laurie, killing anyone who gets in his way.

This excellent movie adds a new element to the Halloween series, making the thought of Michael scarier than ever before. Michael roams the dark hallways of the hospitals, killing anyone he sees... but can he get to his destanation- Laurie?

Movie Review: Part 2 is currently the second best of the series
Summary: 5 Stars

Most people I know seem to like this movie as the best sequel of the series. However some people, say it's dissapointing because it's the first movie in the series that went against the classic original in 1978. I think the bottom line with Halloween 2 is that it follows the story from nicely from part 1 and is a fun watch. While the classic part one which, might even be the best hoor movie ever, manages to be scary with almost no blood and even in a daytime setting, Halloween 2 doest not provide this. While this movie is not a total bloodfest there are a few unneccesary gory scenes. I never understood why Michael Myers was also shown so much in this movie getting rid of some suspense. It's clearly a liitle flawed but as the first sequel of the series I always felt there was not many other ways to make part 2 better.

Movie Review: My favorite..
Summary: 5 Stars

I know this HAS to sound incredibly weird....as most people really dislike this movie as compared to the original. But in my opinion, it's the best in the series. Why? Well..read on:

1. INCREDIBLE stalk scenes. Adrenaline-pounding, tension filled chase scenes best describe the movie.

2. Jamie Lee Curtis. Why? Well, in the original (made in 1978), Curtis was 19, and played the role of Laurie, whom was 17. Add the fact that Halloween 2 was 3 years later but supposedly on the same night, and we have a 22-year old Jamie Lee Curtis playing someone who is 17. _5_ years, and she pulls it off.

3. Donald Pleasence. Great Actor. 'Nuff said.

So is Halloween 2 _REALLY_ better than the original? Well, probably not, but in my opinion, YES.

Matt~

Movie Review: One Hell of A Follow Up To A Classic
Summary: 5 Stars

Halloween 2 for me nailed the formula right again..Yes the gore was a lot more evident and it was a bit less scary but there were very subtle things in this movie that made the storyline come together..We find out that Laurie is Michael's sister, Michael breaking into the school and writing "Samhain" on the board or desk, and the scenes in downtown Haddonfield are great where you don't see Michael but you see people walking around Haddonfield on Halloween night thru his eyes, not thinking anything of him because it's Halloween, the news reports are great and the little cut in of Night of Living Dead is cool as well..I highly recommend this as part of any horror movie weekend marathon you might have planned...
