I don't care what anyone says about this movie. I have been enjoying it for years! Sure it's a little campy and the acting isn't the world's best, but the songs are fun and the "too cool for school" theme is great.

Yes, it isn't an Oscar nominee type movie, but I'd watch this over just about any Academy Award "put me to sleep" winning movie.....

Was ordered used so was thinking I probably will not be able to watch it......(cheap way) but it was a great movie that has been watched HERE about 50 times already....LOL

I should hate this film. It's campy, it poorly acted, it badly written...and I just love it. Can something be so bad that's it's good? If so, then that's the case of this musical vehicle. Only one real star emerged from this project unscathed--the ever beautiful Michelle Pfeiffer. I recommend but keep it on the down low.
