Movie Review: Louis and Sharon 4 ever
Summary: 5 Stars
I saw this movie as a child when it first came out and I have loved it ever since. The music and the characters are loveable and laughable. The storyline is simplistic but charming. Love at first sight. However before the 2 main characters can get together they have to overcome the obstacles of young love and high school rules along with peer pressure. However the secondary characters are what make this movie move and flourish. On a personal level my 2 favorite characters as well as my favorite couple are Louis and Sharon. They provide the best musical number in the movie. Let's Do It For Our Country, has to be the one of the funniest songs in the movie. As well as the song Reproduction. This one of my favorite movies, and in my opinion much better than the original. The original did not have the amusing songs and making fun of high school like Grease 2 does:) I like the original but not as much as the 2nd. The secondary characters offer a great FOIL of themselves. Sharon the virtious and self-righteous pink lady has to fight Louis off with a stick and on the other side of the spectrum Paulette literally throws herself at Johnny. Also, they make Sharon look like Jackie Kennedy and Paulette look like Marilyn Monroe. Very clever. They even mention it at the begining of the movie. Thats my 2 cents worth. I recommend this movie to anyone who likes musicals. I am so glad that this movie comes to DVD in a week. Once again Maureen Teefy does a great job.
Movie Review: Let's "DO IT" for our country!!!!

When all you had is cable and South Texas HOT sun during the summer, a cool house and the hollow, fun, cheese lyrics of grease 2 kept you entertained. As you pop this DVD into your player, you are quickly reminded why you love to hate this movie and why as much as you hate it, you still can't keep the lyrics out of your head! The DVD transfer does a decent job in capturing the base of the singing trio in "Mr. Sandman" in the shower, "Reproduction" (Where does the pollen go?) and the bike on "Who's that guy?". The blacks in this particular scene do NOT dissapoint. The visual quality is close to "movie-like" you feel transported back to the 80's and want to solve a rubiks cube while you watch the movie.
The highs in Johnnys Song "Walk, Talk like T birds" are GREAT! You want to see Michelle Phipher stradle a ladder with a phalic tree under her or see her dance and stradle the wind, in the courtyard while everyone ignores her crazy teen ways, this DVD delivers this GREAT cheesy 80's movie and puts it into a GREAT FORMAT! C-O-O-L. . . R-I-D-E-R!
Movie Review: Grease 2, u gotta watch it!

Well this film has got alot of bad press over the years! people saying it isnt worth watching! so i avoided watching it ofcorse.but 1 day my friend made me watch it & i woz suprised because it atually is a good film! i dont no how any one can say this film is rubbish!? if your a musical girl like me! (well i like a bit of song in my film but not alot! lol) you will really enjoy this! i must say sum of the songs are betta than grease 1! such as... girl for all seasons! (its ok!) lets bowl! (GOOD 1!) lets do it 4 our country! ( awww lewis is good looking in that 1 mate!) & my 2 favorite of all REPRODUCTION! & COOOL RIDER!
it isnt the orinaly cast of jon travolter. but the cast are equally as good! wiv max caullfield & michelle pfeiffer! and this film well leave you wanting more. well you shooud give it a go & see what you think about it! & dnt allways belive wot you read!
Movie Review: Good Movie

This movie was actually good and not as bad as a lot of reviews seem to think. Was it as good as The Original movie.. No it wasn't but it was still good and I enjoyed it.
The songs may not be 60's music(the time period of the movie) but they do have a more 80's music feel to it. The songs were not bad but I do agree could have been better.
The main characters were played by then unknown young actors Maxwell Caulfield and Michelle Pfeiffer. Caulfield who went on be in the Night time soap Dynasty, and Pfeiffer who went on to have a career in the movies. Quiet frankly aside from being in Grease 2 and having a part as Catwomen in Batman 2. I haven't seen any of her other movies she may have done.
They all so bring back Frenchy (Didi Conn), Eve Arden as Principal McGee,Sid Caesar as Coach Calhoun, Dody Goodman as Blanche Hodel. all who were in the first movie.
If you haven't seen it , you should at lease once.
Movie Review: A Personal Favorite, And A Great Transfer

Ok, Ok, it may not be a popular thing to say, but GREASE 2 is one of my favorite movies. Not one of the greatest films ever made, but it is one that I can watch over and over again and not get bored with. I've seen it I'm afraid to think how many times since it was released. The music is fun, it is fast paced, and it made me a Michelle Pfeiffer fan when no one had ever heard of her.
After years of waiting, it made it to DVD and what a terrific transfer it is. Widescreen (2.35:1), the print is absolutely flawless. If you've seen it on TV, the widescreen photography really suffered because, at times, characters were talking who weren't even on the screen. Now, you see the whole image. And, the film looks as good as if it was released in theatres last week.
There are no extras which isn't surprising as Pfeiffer doesn't care for it (though she shouldn't be ashamed of it).
So, if you are a fan of the film, it is a must buy.
