Movie Review: Have your Handkerchief ready...
Summary: 4 Stars
This is a horrifying ride through the other side of WWII. The Japanese story never told in the US. You will laugh, you will cry and it is WAY better than Cats. I admit I am not an anime fan. Additionally, I choose to buy a very limited number of DVDs. This film is a tightly written, touching story that will endure so long as war does. Not to be missed. I save 5 stars for only the most outstanding films, in my opnion, which are rarities. This film will certainly hold its own.Movie Review: Sad but Good

Though this is a very sad movie, its a great story. Its interesting to see history being told from another perspective, not the usual US point of view, instead the "enemy" point of view.
I recommend if you like good stories, good animation and WWII theme. Not recommended to young kids though.

The movie was getting to a great part, when the DVD started to freak out on me. So it was a let down, I plan on getting a better copy soon, so I can finish watching the movie.
