Movie Review: chan physically overshadowed!!!
Summary: 4 Stars
This film is at a tangent even in chans more recent diverse film career. the english version does not carry his own voice and he moves away from being a cheeky lovable type to a rich guy with a mean streak under his fair play guise. the two fights here are very fast and impressive but show that jackie is not what he was. his kicks are sparse and even lower than ever, but his dexterity and awesome punches are as well used since dragons forever. The popularity of this worldwide release should now bring forth the official DVD release of Drunken Master 2 and hopefully with just as many extras! as a little note, Brad Allan reminds me of Jeff Falcon in 80's classics like Outlaw Brothers and hopefully he will show up in another JC film, but not quite as hard to beat!!Movie Review: Gorgeous is well......gorgeous

Eye catching and fun without beeing over the top. Gorgeous was aimed toward the Asian market so it lacks what most people crave in the US, sorry no huge stunts here. While action is sparce its the best Jackie has ever done. The fight scenes are done with perfection flow wonderfully. Though the story can be slow, romantic comedy is a new medium for Jackie, however he pulls it off quite nicely. Word of warning: please watch this in the original Cantonese because the dubbed voice acting is horrible, not jackie's, and some of the jokes do not translate over well. For Jackie Chan fans the wait repays you with the best final battle containing the most amazing fighting moves I have ever seen in any of his films. I first caught Gorgeous at Anime Expo 2000 where it was shown in it's original subtitled form and it was one of the best movies I've seen all year. Great plot, written by Jackie Chan himself, with enough of his acrobatics to keep any man interested in what is basically a romance movie.However, upon viewing the DVD and VHS versions, the english dubbing on both is terrible with many mistranslations/poor re-writing in which many of the jokes are lost. The same is said for the DVD subtitling as well. There were also several scenes that were deleted that, while not important to the plot, presented more of the story, especially at the end.
So, while still a great movie the VHS/DVD doesn't do it justice.

This is a good dvd to purchase even if youre not a Jackie Chan fan. Gorgeous is a love story which sees Jackie in a slightly different role to that of the comical character seen in his other films, that said his character is likeable and still endulges in the trademark action that audiences are used to seeing. Gorgeous has something for everyone and is a good reference if your girlfriend demands a romantic movie but you crave action.Movie Review: Great

The movie was pretty funny when C.N. fought his opponent and they both knocked eachother out. The most funniest part was C.N's bestfriend's character. Also, I read other viewer's review and they thought Buu was so annoying, well, I didn't think she was, she was more like a home girl who was discovering what the city life is like in Hong Kong, which was funny sometimes.
