Gordon's War is an awesome flick! I've been a movie buff since the 1980's and have enjoyed countless films. However, I was suprised to find such a great movie after so many years. The story is a common one, Courageous Vietnam Vet returns to find his old girlfriend killed by drugs, and his community and neighborhood in dissaray. He forms a band of brothers all hell bent on restoring sanity to their community. After confronting many Drug Dealers and thugs, the main character Gordon develops a persona of respectable manliness. His band of brothers are pretty cool guys too. This movie has great old scenes of Harlem, NY during the 1970's. Cool music as well!
Summary of Gordon's War
When a black Viet Nam vet returns to his Harlem home, he finds his wife overdosing on the drugs that have infiltrated the neighborhood. He forms a group of vigilantes in an attempt to clean up the area, making for a lot of action and violence set amid vivid locations.Similar DVD Movies
