Movie Review: Can't Believe I Didn't Pick This Up Earlier!

I grew up watching these films, I even own a VHS set with Godzilla vs Megalon, Gigan, Mechagodzilla, etc. I had seen a bit of Godzilla 2000 a while back, but after seeing this flick, I'm gonna have to revisit that one, along with the other films a part of the millenium series. I loved how updated it was. Godzilla & Mothra looked great, and the story with the Japanese controlling Mecha G was very captivating. I think there was enough action, as well as plot which is something I don't remember from any Godzilla movies except 1985. This movie blows 98's US Godzilla out of the water! That is the full title of the latest (almost) installment in the Big G's Millenium Series. If you have seen the prior film, Godzilla X MechaGodzilla, then you have basically seen this film, except for one small detail...Mothra. That's right, the magic and mysticism of the Mothra legacy is brought back into the Godzilla series. Infant Island, the Cosmos, and the Mothra Larvae are all here. This is a fun, loud, and well done addition to the Godzilla film legacy. The story and direction is great, the editing and pacing is very tight, the music is great, and the actors are great, including Hiroshi Koizumi, a veteran of many early Godzilla films. When I first rented this from Hollywood Video, I was realy having doubts that it was going to be any good, But I got proved wrong in, what, the first 5 minutes? This Godzilla movies is one of the best I've ever seen, it even rivals Godzilla: Final Wars! Godzilla is no good guy in this one. MechaGodzilla is really cool, being the best MechaGodzilla yet, and Mothra is the best mother ever, dying, so her children will live on. And when you see her die, her kids witness it for the first time. seeing their mother die gave them thew energy to help MechaGodzilla take Godzilla down to the botom of the sea. This Godzillla movie is great. It's about the military people who are trying to repare Mecha Godzilla for he was destroyed in an earlier fight with Godzilla. They send out Mothra and Mecha Godzilla (or Mecha G, as they would call him) to destroy Godzilla! Godzilla destroys Mothra but is webbed by the Mothra larvae which is later hatched from the egg. Mecha Godzilla's circuits go on a rampage and sinks himself with Godzilla right after Godzilla is webbed. (A guy is also inside of Mecha Godzilla when this happens).This movie is exciting to watch and I 100% reccomend it for anybody. An amazing film!

I got the movie today(will not say from where because I got it early).I watched the movie right when I got home. It is my 3rd favorite millineum series movie behind G Against MechaGodzilla, and GMK. As far as people saying it is the best Special Effects G movie I dont know it seemed just as good as GxMG and GMK. The movie itsefl was awesome. The battle scenes where off the chain. The battle last about an hour. It's a 10/10 Godzilla movie and I definately recommend it if your a die hard G fan. And it could also be a great Christmas present for kids who like Dinosaurs.
