Movie Review: If you love cheesey sword and sandals...
Summary: 5 Stars
I'm a huge fan of those fine line films that straddle between fun and bad. Gods of War manages to hit just the right note. Don't expect stellar acting, sets or dubbing, but for a sward and sandal romp this two-disc set fills the bill.
Summary of Gods of War
Contains: The Giant of Marathon (1962).Steve "Hercules" Reeves plays the musclebound hero who defends Athens from Persian forces. A horse with incredible stamina, a double-crossing siren, epic land and sea battles and Reeves' amazing physique highlight this sowrd-and-sandal winner.

The majestically muscular Steve Reeves slings a lot of swords, in this action-filled tale of a fight for freedom between Etruscan slave drivers and oppressed Trojans. This movie is not to be missed. AKA: "The Avenger"
