Movie Reviews of Go (Special Edition)Movie Review: My new favorite movie Summary: 5 Stars
This movie is my 2nd favorite movie of all time, behind only TRAINSPOTTING. The three story blend does echo PULP FICTION but they are extremely different movies. The acting is superb, with all of the actors especially Timothy Olyphant, Katie Holmes, and Desmond Askew. The writing is perfect, the directing and cinematography by Doug Liman are the best ive seen in a long time. And this maybe the best sophomore effort of all time. It certainly equals SWINGERS but is very different from it. Five stars all the way baby!!!
Movie Review: Best movie I've seen in years Summary: 5 Stars
Great stories, fast pace, a lot of surprises, and outstanding actors. Every actor seemed born to their roles. I particularly liked Timothy Olyphant as the drug dealer. You'll hear a lot of people compare it to Pulp Fiction. Don't take that to mean it's Tarantinoesque. It means that it plays with time, weaves a lot of individual stories together and surprises you. You never know what's coming next and the new direction brought that you go in is never disappointing (except for the diner table scene).
Movie Review: It's all about the cat! Summary: 5 Stars
I love this movie! I live for the cat scene. It's a fun preclub movie. I just hate when Dawson's Creek characters move away from the Creek and onto the silver screen. If I have to watch Kate Holmes push her hair behind her right ear, while she angles her head down and shrugs her shoulders, ONE MORE TIME!!! AHHHH! She needs to play a bald roll. It will mark the end of her career.
Okay, I went off there. Can you blame me? How many more Sandra Bullocks do we really need?
Movie Review: Impressive Summary: 5 Stars
What a good film! The script is just fantastic, the directing is assured and dynamic, and there's so much talent in the cast. A very young Katie Holmes shines in her role as a bored supermarket clerk, as does Sarah Polley (whatever happened to her?), whose attempt to get some money to avoid being evicted triggers this amazing story. Desmond Askew is both charming and hilarious -a rare and winning combination--and Jay Mohr and Scott Wolf make a funny couple.
Movie Review: go already! Summary: 5 Stars
this movie is so much fun and so energized and so wild, it is just a trip! I loved watching everything come together and the rave scenes just give you a rush. I love the way it starts, too, with the columbia logo getting cut out by that awesome music and flashes of the party. Very smart, very surprising, with great performances (Sarah Polley is so awesome and Katie Holmes needs to do more movies like this because she's great in it). Get it now!
