Movie Reviews of Go Potty Go!: Potty Training For Tiny Toddlers

Movie Review: Excellent Video!
Summary: 5 Stars

Go Potty Go is an excellent video! It's fun and is definitely made to keep a toddler's attention. The video contains 4 catchy songs interspersed with cartoon characters talking about being a big kid and going to the potty. My toddler can't get enough of it, sings the songs all the time, and has definitely started using the potty more regularly since we got the video! Highly recommend!

Movie Review: This gets through to my child
Summary: 5 Stars

My daughter is almost 3 and loves this video more than any other thing we watch, which totally surprised me. It connects with her in a way that I can`t, and talks about all the things that she is working on now with potty training, and in a fun way. They show cartoon animals plus some real videos of big kids and babies playing. They make several distinctions between babies and big kids, like that babies wear diapers, can`t walk up stairs and have to eat baby food, and then they show big kids climbing and sliding and having fun. They don`t make wearing diapers a bad thing, though, which made me happy because my daughter still wears them at night. I appreciate that they tell the kids about everything: noticing the need to go, stopping what you are doing to go to the potty, waiting a while with a book, wiping yourself, and washing your hands. They have songs about going potty, washing hands and wearing underwear, too. It shows a cartoon boy and girl sitting on the toilet, and shows a cartoon panda wiping herself ``from front to back, to stay clean and healthy`` It has an interactive style at times, asking ``what does Katie have to do next?`` my daughter likes that part best because they make a little guessing game of it, Dora style. It is a short video, and it could be of higher quality, but I am so glad that I bought it because it motivates her to use the toilet (getting a little treat right after using it is important too). Good luck!

Movie Review: so, so
Summary: 2 Stars

This video has nice catchy songs and animals which my daughter likes but the animation is very simple. I'm not sure how much she really thinks about using the potty versus just enjoying the music. It's an ok video.

Movie Review: So far, so good
Summary: 4 Stars

We received this dvd yesterday and my daughter has wanted to watch it about 20 times already. Today she has been wanting to sit on the toilet too. She hasn't actually done it yet but this has at least put the thought in her head. Yea!

Movie Review: My 2 year-old loves this!
Summary: 4 Stars

I only gave it 4 stars because the video hasn't actually motivated her to use the potty, but she loves it so much she asks me to play it about 10 times a day, sings and dances to the songs, and says, "go potty, go" whenever I mention going potty. I understand that these videos aren't a magic bullet, and that at 2 Penny is just starting out with the most minimal interest, and I'm not going to try to pressure her so much as encourage her when she's really ready. The DVD is an appropriate supplement to potty training for toddlers and early preschoolers.
