I bought it because my daughter was going for vacations with her grandparents in Costa Rica, and she loves Diego. I watched it with her before traveling and she loved it, as every time she watches the show. I am now happy that she will get entertained during the rainy afternoons.Movie Review: Greatest menu feature ever!

My 2.5 year old loves this DVD. Any kid who is a fan of Diego will like it. The reason I love it is that the menu screen has a wonderfull feature. If you leave the menu screen on for about a minute I guess, it will automatically start playing the DVD. My son is in and out of his room all day and likes to have his tv on, so if I happen to start the dvd near the end, it will basically play a continuous loop so I never have to go hit play again for him. my grandaughter is crazy about Diego and enjoys the DVD. I however have a serious problem with the fact that once you start it, it will not let you access the menu. Your child must sit through 4 or 5 ads for other DVDs unless you want to stay there and manually skip each one. It also won't let you stop the DVD during this time. I say "hours of fun" because my son wants to watch it over and over again. I love that he is learning Spanish, science, and how to help others while he's glued to the tube. Even with his limited attention span (he's three-years-old), he wants to watch all of it, and often chooses it from our shelf. Most of his other DVDs are forgotten after a month, but not this one.
