Movie Reviews of Go Ask AliceMovie Review: This film will stay with me for the rest of my life. Summary: 5 Stars
I am a 13-year old. I read the book "Go Ask Alice" and I loved it. I rented the movie, and loved it. I am learning about drug abuse now so I wont make the same mistakes Alice made. This is definitely my favorite book, because it it so honest and realistic. I feel like Alice in some ways. I feel like I am all alone sometimes, and I get angry and frustrated and upset over the littlest things. What can I say, I'm normal. So I give this movie a 5 because it is the only film out there that is real. It is based on an actual girl's life, and that's what I like about it so much.
Movie Review: This is a great movie-- Summary: 5 Stars
I got to watch this movie in a Psychology class. I am a Junior in Highschool and I have got to say that Andy Griffith is one of my favorite actors. I didn't get to see the beginning credits, but when I saw Andy Griffith in the movie it brought a grin to my face! The ending took me by surprise though that Alice had died. I would love to own this movie, because it is a good movie and because Andy is in it. It is sad how young some people get hooked into the world of drugs. Watch this movie and you will find out more about the addictions of drugs.
Movie Review: Loved It! Summary: 5 Stars
I read this book in 3 hours. The movie was really good. Supposedly it is real and I like to think that it is although I have my suspicions that it isn't. A common misconception however is that the person who is writing the diary is named Alice. However, it is named Go Ask Alice from the Jefferson Airplane song called "White Rabbit". Also, the person who writes the diary briefly meets a drug addict named Alice. Very good movie and book though.
Movie Review: intense, real, hard to swallow life lesson Summary: 5 Stars
I saw this movie when it originally aired in the early 70's. I am now allmost 40 and this movie has stayed with me all this time, I have shared it with my 2 daughters now 17 and 14. This book is so intense and real. This book and movie can really straighten out people. I wish it was part of the english lit. program in schools.
Movie Review: UNFORGETTABLE, SAD,GIVES AWARENESS FOR TEENS. Summary: 5 Stars
I saw this movie as it originally aired, a time after the book was released and got tremendous attention. It was actually required reading by many junior and high schools. With any hope, it would have reached millions of young people. It may have actually saved lives.
