Movie Reviews of Gladiator EroticusMovie Review: Funny Summary: 4 Stars
This movie was funny. It was not an award winning movie. It is worth the price because it will make you laugh. I could of done without the Vomitorium scene but that was easily fast forwarded through. Some of the wardrobing choices will make you go Hmmm what were they thinking.
Movie Review: Gladiator's Summary: 4 Stars
There isn't a whole lot to say other than, it's soft porn, with a B rating kind of feel. Charater's names are funnier than all get out, really low budget, but passible entertainment.
Movie Review: This is a great addition to your collection. Summary: 4 Stars
This is one of the best of the Seduction Sinema dvd's. Lots of multiple girls and Darrian Caine pretty much naked throughout the whole movie. This is definitley one to get.
Movie Review: The women are stunning, but the "action" is just sad Summary: 3 Stars
These Seduction Cinema movies are just godawful. The only reason to watch them (in my humble opinion) is to watch beautiful women make out. They are good for nothing else.
Gladiator Eroticus is a knock off of 2000's Gladiator with the heavenly Darian Cane in the Russell Crow role. It's the same deal: leader becomes slave, must fight for glory... blah blah blah. Here, though, the fights end in sex.
Unfortunately, the minds at SC have never watched a Maria Ford movie. Had they done so they might have seen the perfect example of what they are striving for: a heavily explicit softcore film that borders on hardcore, yet is believable (sexwise; no one takes these things seriously).
Gladiator E.--and every other SC film--cannot claim this.
The sex is attrociously fake (we know that you are really squeezing and kissing the inner thigh, girls); the acting is just retarded; there is not story aside from a basic outline; and the direction is a shambles (again, that thigh thing; a real director would know to shoot from a different angle so the sex actually looks real).
In short, this is crap. It is a shame, too. The girls are cute; and Darian is just beyond beautiful. But they are wasted on movies like these.
Movie Review: The only good thing about this movie is Misty Mundae Summary: 2 Stars
Maybe I've seen too many of these John Bacchus movies from Seduction Cinema. I know how exceedingly silly and juvenile these films can be, so the completely farcical nature of Gladiator Eroticus was certainly not a shock to my system. I also know what kind of activities go on in these movies, and I just didn't find this one very erotic at all. This is disappointing given the fact that my three favorite Seduction Cinema starlets, Misty Mundae, Darian Cane, and Katie Jordan, are all featured herein. The story is simple, ludicrous, and relatively unimportant. Darian Cane plays Eroticus, the leading general of Rome, one who achieves victory on the battlefield in her own special way, one that does not involve armor or weapons or even clothes. The emperor wants her to be the next leader of the Roman people, but the emperor's idiotic son assumes the throne after he sort of kills his father. He orders the death of Eroticus, but she defeats her would-be killers (who are, fortunately for her, female), and escapes only to be captured and taught the ways of lesbian gladiator fighting. In this way she works her way back toward Rome with the goal of exacting revenge on the emperor.Misty Mundae saves this movie from complete failure. She plays the sister of the new emperor, and he keeps her close to his side for the first two-thirds of the film. Once she finally has a chance to engage in the gladiator-like activities taking Rome by storm, the movie becomes much better. This is actually a rather large-scale project for the Seduction Cinema folks; all this really means is that there are more actors than usual included in the cast and that the whole Roman army, instead of numbering a handful of soldiers, seems to consist of about twenty people. This is unquestionably a bare-bones sort of production. Almost all of the action takes place out in the open, and computer-generated Roman-looking buildings are supposed to make us envision Rome itself as the setting. The plot itself pretty much stinks, coming pretty close to giving Mistress Frankenstein a run for its money in terms of its rottenness. Bacchus got some of his jollies with the idea of a "vomitorium" this time around, and this does not help his cause. One thing about this film particularly galls me, though. The voices of Darian Caine and Jade DuBoir are dubbed over with some he-man-sounding female voices which sound utterly ridiculous. I really can't recommend this film to anyone besides Misty Mundae fans; she is much too good for a movie this ridiculous.
