Movie Review: A Treat for Fans of the Show
Summary: 3 Stars
Shamelessly nostalgic in the best sense, this reunion/sequel TV movie successfully erases the foul stench of "The Nude Bomb," the first, unfunny, inappropriate (theatrical) "Get Smart" sequel.
Unlike the earlier "Bomb," this vast improvement's got pretty much every reoccurring character from the original, as well as all the classic running gags and catchphrases. Everybody looks a lot older (Don Adams looks ancient in a couple scenes) and some repetitious jokes from the late 1960's get tiresome, but the spirit is still willing and there are two or three undeniably hilarious original sequences that capture the clever wackiness of the original in new ways. Plus, some of the nostalgic stuff hits the bullseye: Don Adams and Bernie Kopell are still perfect comic foils, and the movie's last moment between Max and 99 is very sweet.
If you didn't like the tone or humor of the original, you won't like this. But if you're a fan of the show, "Get Smart, Again" is a must. It's one of the best reunion movies in television history (not that the bar is set very high).

Get Smart is a hilarious classic sitcom and I was disappointed when they stopped showing the reruns on Nick at Nite and TV Land and while this movie is okay it just isn't up to snuff with the sitcom and I find it's a shame that that classic sitcom isn't on DVD but I just found out that they are in the process of trying to film a movie remake of the sitcom and since the first season of Bewitched cmae out right around the same time as the theatrical remake and the first season of I Dream of Jeanie is coming out and there is rumors of a theatrical remake well lets hope that if it is true about A Get Smart remake that that will mean that complete seasosn for the sitcom will finally be coming!Movie Review: Good but release the TV series on Dvd

A good Tv film made years before the end of the Tv series.With some of the actors reprising their roles which made them famous.
Please release the original Tv-series on Dvd!.

Summary: 3 Stars
The sound on this DVD needs to be re-mastered due to its age, it does not sound good. The acting was Ok but nothing compared to the Tv series. To many years inbetween kills the gusto.
