Movie Review: Painful Truth

I watched this documentary and i cried the whole night. It was so painful to see this happening to people. I highy recommend this dvd. It is a must watch for people who want to know the truth. Israel always trys to potray as the victim while the real truth is completely different. They have pushed these people too far. Even a dog wont allow such treatment. I hope the world to solve this problem soon cause i would like these kids to live in peace and to be able to go to school like normal kids. A true nobel prize winner will be that person who will bring peace to this land. And i hope that our president is listening.Movie Review: Arabic is Lovely

What I like about this film most of all is the chance to listen to Palestinian Arabic the way people really speak it. And the main character in this film -- a Gaza City paper boy -- can really talk and has something to say. This is not a film where the original speech is faded out and replaced by an English voice-over. It's all in Arabic with English subtitles, and I could watch it with the picture turned off.Besides all that, it's an excellent documentary, a rare find, and probably unlike anything you have ever seen about the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. Because it is totally, brutally honest.

Those who criticize this film as "fake" or "propaganda" appear to be from the same philosophical group that refers to anyone that merely believes there are two sides to the story as either "anti-semite" or "self hating jew" as the case may be. This demonstrates many of the propaganda devices used by the Israeli lobby in controlling the perception in our national media of the Middle East conflict. They do a disservice to American and Israeli citizens by stifling honest debate that might lead to a solution.Movie Review: An eye opening look at the Middle East

Words cannot describe how superb this film is. I am so grateful that my film class professor chose to show us this film. I believe that this film is the best documentary I have ever viewed.
Because it focuses on the children of Palestine, the impact of the film is huge and highly disturbing. Such human atrocities need to be noted, there needs to be coverage.
I reccommend this movie to anyone who believes that humans should be humane. I was moved to tears, and so will you be.
Movie Review: And the truth shall make you free...

Truth comes from the lens of an independent filmaker's camera. This DVD was very very difficult for me to watch in its entirety. This a reality from hell that probably 99.9999% of Americans are not aware of - and a child's view of hell at that.
I am extremely disappointed that my government and my tax dollars support the making of this tragedy-in-progress in the Middle East... a superb documentary, intelligent and moving.
