Movie Review: The best of the best

this is a work of art, a masterpiece, what ever u doo JUST BUY IT. joe satriani eric johnson and steve vai the three best at there best. although i sorta wished eric played cliffs of dover but his songs are still excellent. Also check out joes bassist i dont dont really know his name but he is GOOOOOD. and the INCREDIABLE MIKE KENELLY as back up for steve. I just got a guitar 4 christmas and am now getting in to the history of music. But i love these instrumentals with all of my heart. The only cons are the selection is limited and you cant really hear the voices too wellMovie Review: Incredible Chops

A very satisfying and nice performances for the price. The interface of the dvd was a little creakey, but it is ten years old.
The sound was good on my Sony TV and I have no complaints. It's all about the music and these guys are incredible artists. My 17 year old and I were wondering if these guys could go in cold and unknown to audition for a present day band. I think they'd be hired. It would be stellar to make that a reality show.

If you want to watch three great guitar players then this is the one DVD you can't do without. Myself, I was a little disappointed that we didn't see Joe perform the Satch Boogie and that Eric did not perform Cliffs Of Dover ... I am not as big a Steve Vai fan though, although the songs presented are good ones. The main complaint here is that I would have liked to have seen more, more, more ...Movie Review: Very Good

This is a very good performance, but Joe Satriani is much better on his own DVD. The sound on this recording could be better mixed, however, Eric Johnson is absolutely fantastic!! I only wish Eric would release his own DVD. If you are a guitarist or guitar fan of rock or jass-rock fusion you will greatly enjoy this recording. ...They convinced me to buy this DVD, I didn't regret it, but it can not be compared to the Live In SAn Francisco DVD. Which is the best Joe Satriani concert released so far.
In my opinion: buy it, but the L. In S. F. is better...
