Movie Review: Great movie for 1973. (3-1/2 Stars)
Summary: 4 Stars
Several short stories linked by the use of an antique shop owned by Peter Cushing's character. It would make a good Twilight Zone style TV series and I would love to see a modern remake; althogh it has a great old style to it that would probably be lost. If you are a fan of old horror I think you would like this. If you are a fan of Peter Cushing I am sure you would like this. WHEN IT COMES TO HORROR, THERE'S NOTHING LIKE THE 70'S AND THE 80'S MOVIES. THEY WERE MUCH GORIER AND THEY LOOKED REAL. SOMETIMES THE BLOOD CONTENT WAS A LOT OFF. LOOKED LIKE RED PAINT, BUT THE GRUSOMENESS OF WHAT THEY DID BACK THEN WAS MUCH BETTER THAN TODAYS COMPUTER GENERATED JUNK. IM 24 YEARS OLD. IM A MOVIE BUFF AND IF YOU LIKE HORROR YOU NEED TO CHECK OUT ALL THE HAMMER AND AMICUS FLICKS,AND FOR STARTERS, FROM BEYOND THE GRAVE WOULD BE A GOOD CHOICE. WATCH IN THE DARK WITH FRIENDS...
