Movie Reviews of Freaky FridayMovie Review: The best nothing beats a classic! Summary: 5 Stars
I grew up with this movie. I think I saw it for the first time on the wonderful world of Disney. Either that or Mom got it for me at the library & even she likes it. Jodi foster is both brilliant & lovable! She's believable and as the child her issues where at least believable & somebody I could sypathise with. As an adult in a childs body well hillarious! By the way Ben or Ape Face really showed talent. What happened to that kid? He was cute & delivered a preformance of giant perportion that added dynamic to both mother and daughter. Plus that ball game scene & his love & envy of his big sister. The kid had a real talent for delivering dialog, yet also proved though he first apears a little geek that he had a real little boys spirit. The jokes where clean & in good taste. Yet timeless & funny. Nothing beats a great chase scene & that car chase was both exciting and funny. I seached long & hard for a copy of the vhs but it'd been vaulted. just when I bought it used My VCR broke & I got a DVD player for my birthday. A week later the DVD came out. Purchase of that DVD is one of the first things I'll do with my next paycheck. It will be money well spent on a classic disney movie I could watch again & again.
Movie Review: FREAKY FRIDAY 1977 Summary: 5 Stars
I saw the Newer Version, FREAKY FRIDAY 2003, before I saw this Original. And it wasn't until a LONG while later as I didn't think that I would of cared for it. But, I really enjoyed this original version with Barbara Harris and Jodie Foster. Both ladies did a sterling job in playing their normal aged selves, then in switching over to their opposite ages. Barbara was so full of youthful energy, and Jodie was more mature in her attitude. Plus, I grew up in the 70's and it retains that 70's atmosphere. I still love FREAKY FRIDAY 2003 the best though, with Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan, as they totally rocked the theater with their excellent acting skills and they also were EXTREMELY FUNNY! I think that if you see one or the other, then you HAVE to get the other as a companion DVD. For, though they are similar stories, each one has it's very own flavour. Plus, Boris is in both films. Nice touch.
Movie Review: Much much better than the remake!!!! Summary: 5 Stars
Hillarios fun! I saw the remake first, then i saw the 1977 version and i thought it was ALOT better than the remake. One of the things i like is it has a younger teen only 13 i think. That makes the movie more intresting. another thing is, is that Annabel likes the kid across the street and gets a chance to be her mother and tries to make him like her better. My favorite part of the movie is when her mother has to play the field hockey game, whitch is SOOO FUNNY! Overall, i give this 5 stars!!

Movie Review: Great, classic Disney fun! Summary: 5 Stars
The original Disney smash Freaky Friday features a clever storyline, stellar production and extremely talented cast, including a young Jodie Foster (always a brilliant actress in whatever she's in) in a role which proves she can portray a suburban mother in mind convincingly. An over-the-top performance of the mother by Barbara Harris is executed almost as convincingly. The latest version rivals this because both contain many comedic elements and brilliant acting. A classic for Disney which can be enjoyed by all!
