Movie Review: She's a whole lotta woman!!!
Summary: 3 Stars
This is a cool movie to watch. I'm a huge Pam Grier fan, and granted the movie is an old one, Foxy was B.A.D!!! Girlfriend could handle her business. Foxy is having to bail her brother Linc out of trouble, and she wants to avenge the death of her man. She keeps telling Linc he needs to have some ambition. She really loved her brother despite his behavior. My favorite scene in the movie was when Linc said the following: "I"m a Blackman, I don't know how to sing, I don't know how to dance, I don't know how to preach to no congregation. I'm too small to be a football hero, and too ugly to be elected mayor. When I see the homes they live in, and the cars they drive I get full of ambition". I could not help but focus on what he said, because I know plenty of black men who still think that way now!!! Foxy will not let anyone get in the way of her quest for revenge and anyone who does, they better watch out because they will be sorry. Foxy goes undercover as a prostitute to find out the people responsible for the murders are the madam she is working for, her pretty boy, philandering, and racist boyfriend. The number 2 in charge, and two sadistic, incompetent henchmen. It was fun to see the funky outfits from back in the day, and this movie is full of action.Movie Review: Pam Grier is the reason I saw this film

Pam Grier is very sexy as Foxy Brown but overall the movie is a stinker.
That's all I got to say other then the plot stinks and that Pam is the only reason I give this flick 3 stars. It's pretty much a revenge movie that's it and it's a very dumb one too(no offense)
By the way sadly they are remaking this film and is set to come out 05 and rumors say that Hallie Barry will play as Foxy..oh poop..

Movie Review: Blaxploitation at its sexiest.

Foxy Brown is a decent film for its genre. Pam Grier, of course, is incredibly sexy showing off a great body and an interesting wardrobe. Some of the villain acting is terrible, though Tony Giorgio makes a great bad guy (see him as Palancio in 'Magnum Force'). I was a kid growing up in the 70s and am a big fan of this period movie. A rather short film that has no problem holding your interest.Movie Review: Deceiving!

i thought i was gonna see the famous philipino female rapper! all i got was a lousy movie with bad acting and slow unrehearsed fight scenes. no story what so ever. terrible at best! i would recommend the movie "lil' kim". much better "props" and good behind the scenes bonuses.Movie Review: cool-ish

Not bad 70's time capsule.Not quite as enjoyable as it should be though as it tends to drag quite a bit in places.15 minutes or so cut from it would have probably made it a sharper film.Needless to say the hairstyles and the wardrobe are hilarious.As is some of the dialogue.Worth a look.
